Through its regional strategy, Migration Capacity Partnerships in the Mediterranean (MCP Med), ICMPD is prioritising a joint leadership and shared responsibility approach. The framework delivers on ICMPD vision of effective capacity-centred migration partnerships. MCP Med collaborates to establish Euro-Mediterranean migration governance from a national perspective, leveraging strengths and knowledge to address irregular migration, forced displacement, and enable safe, legal migration pathways.

Funded by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, the “Enhancing Jordan capacities in implementing evidence-based migration policies" (MIDAM 3) project, aims to improve migration related knowledge and data management through enhancing cooperation in migration governance at local/national/ regional and international levels. As well as, supporting a more balanced migration narrative in Jordan and the region.

Under the Supervision of the Project Manager, the Junior Project Officer support the implementation and coordination of activities throughout the project full life cycle. All activities undertaken in alignment with the regulatory framework, standard administrative practices and operating procedures of ICMPD and within assigned work plans and budgets. S/he supports knowledge management, and resource mobilisation activities. S/he contributes to capacity development to support all stakeholders and partners in improving their capabilities. S/he are also expected to work very closely with the other Project Officer and Team Assistant to ensure timely implementation of the project's activities.

The candidate must be able to communicate in (verbal/written) English and Arabic. Any other language would be considered as an asset. ​
