Project "Improvement of National and Regional Referral Mechanisms in cross-border cases of Trafficking in Human Beings in the West Africa region" (RRM Project) is funded by the European Union (EU) and jointly implemented in partnership with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). It supports regional and national efforts to prevent and combat Trafficking in Human Beings and to strengthen protection systems for victims, in line with ECOWAS frameworks, EU priorities, and international human rights standards. The action contributes to the operationalisation of the ECOWAS Regional Referral Mechanism and reinforces cooperation among ECOWAS Member States in addressing cross-border THB cases.
Working with a level of relative independence, the Project Management Assistant is responsible for providing a wide range of experienced administrative/logistical/technical support to project teams throughout the planning and implementation of project(s) activities. S/he supports reporting and the development of innovative workflows in support of project(s) activities. S/he provides operation procedural training to project support staff in line with the standard administrative practices and operating procedures of ICMPD.
Within this framework, the position also supports other projects and programs under Pan-Africa initiatives when required and is under the administrative oversight of the Project Manager in Côte d'Ivoire, with close coordination with the Project Manager of the RRM Project.
Position requires mandatory fluent English and French skill sets (verbal and written).
