What You'll DoJob Summary: Serve as the main point of contact for either a Business Unit or specific part of the business and would be the knowledge holder for those billing administrative details. Support the Billing Manager with reporting duties and system management responsibilities. Manage Contract Billers ensuring smooth and productive operations on a day-to-day basis. Essential Duties: Support the Billing Manager in coordinating the monthly Billing goals for the team to ensure the accurate and timely recording of receivable transactions into the Institute's GL System.Maintain specific systems administration duties related to Costpoint, OnBase, and Cognos for the Billing function.Serve as the first point of contact for reviewing/diagnosing issues for respective BU projects.Coordinate and communicate with BU personnel to facilitate transactional recording and/or escalated issues.Coordinate with A/P and other accounting groups on issues that require their input and/or potential changes by others.Maintain a Billing workload at a lower Biller volume and relative to other Supervisors.Share in supervising Billers, with responsibilities including but not limited to monthly 1:1 meetings, performance appraisals and time reporting responsibilities.Train new personnel and support ongoing team training, as needed.May occasionally serve on teams involved in system implementation, system improvements and problem solving related to innovation.Provide operational oversight of a section or function, staying abreast of new methodologies to advance the business.Guide staff through performance planning, development and evaluation process. Ensure staff development and career progression. Responsible for developing and implementing practices to ensure a high level of staff morale and retention. Operate and oversee the promotion and succession processes.Oversee the maintenance and adherence to standard operating procedures.Ensure the professional credibility of the unit function. Help to develop the technical and/or professional stature of staff.Provides constructive and timely feedback to staff. Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States. RTI considers multiple factors when making an offer including, for example: established salary range, internal budget, business needs, and education and years of work experience possessed by the applicant.
