Within this framework, the Programme Analyst plays a pivotal role in translating strategic goals into impactful action. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Analyst contributes substantively to programme design, formulation, and evaluation, ensuring that initiatives are responsive to the needs of vulnerable communities. By closely monitoring implementation results, coordinating with partners, and enhancing systems and procedures, the Programme Analyst supports the delivery of high-quality programmes that provide women with access to financial services, markets, digital literacy, skills, and enterprise development. This role is instrumental in ensuring that the portfolio’s vision is realized through effective collaboration with government counterparts, donors, civil society, and operational teams.
Reporting to Portfolio Manager, the Programme Analyst contributes to the effective management of UN Women WEE programmes in the CO by providing substantive inputs to programme design, formulation, implementation and evaluation. The Programme Analyst support the delivery of UN Women programmes by monitoring results achieved during implementation and ensuring appropriate application of systems and procedures and develops enhancements if necessary. The Programme Analyst works in close collaboration with the Portfolio Manager WEE and Operations team, UN Women, Government officials, multi and bi-lateral donors and civil society ensuring successful UN Women programme implementation under portfolio.
