Our play-centred program, Play2Learn, is one of our most successful and longstanding programs across Australia, helping families and young children learn to play, socialise and establish routine. We need you to join our team in NSW, working closely with parents, caregivers and their children to help enable a smooth transition into the next phase of early learning.

A place to make a difference:

In this permanent full-time (38 hours per week) position, you’ll be a key member of our Play2Learn team in NSW and will report to our Regional Manager.

You will make a difference by:

  • Leading a team through effective feedback to maintain service quality and ensure alignment with role responsibilities and outcomes as per contractual obligations and stakeholder expectations
  • Providing strong leadership to a team of practitioners through direct supervision, coaching, capability development and performance management, with a focus on developing strong and sustainable teams
  • Ensuring timely and accurate monitoring, evaluation and reporting on programmatic inputs, deliverables and outcomes
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships by liaising with local communities, professionals and service providers to ensure services meet client needs and contractual requirements
  • Identifying, managing and monitoring risks to program/service delivery, quality, staff wellbeing and Child Safeguarding
  • Advocating within the broader service system for the needs of children, parents and carers

This role requires:

  • Flexibility to work across locations, including Sydney Metro and Murrumbidgee, with regular travel to P2L delivery sites across these regions
  • Proven experience working with children, families, and culturally diverse communities across relevant service systems
  • Strong track record in leading high‑performing teams with a focus on performance, learning and capability development
  • Skilled in supporting children and young people through a strengths‑based approach to achieve positive outcomes
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and respond confidently to complex situations
  • Solid understanding of legislation relevant to the program and adherence to required compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of child protection issues and a strong commitment to child safeguarding processes
  • Excellent networking and consultation skills, with the ability to engage, influence and collaborate toward shared goals
  • Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Development or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
