Pact is initiating a new activity in Liberia as part of the ACHIEVE project, a global project funded through the U.S. Department of State. The activity in Liberia will align with ACHIEVE’s overall strategic objectives which include achieving and maintaining HIV/AIDS epidemic control among pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, children, and adolescents and improving integrated maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition services. ACHIEVE is initiating a new MNCH activity in Liberia to support the Government of Liberia to address existing MNCH gaps in Liberia, improve maternal child health outcomes, and support interventions and priorities that will improve availability of and access to critical lifesaving MNCH services. Activity priorities include quality of care, vaccination coverage, integrated management of childhood illness, data visibility, and human resources enhancement.
The Finance and Operations Director will work closely with the Project Director to provide leadership and oversight of all finance, operations, and procurement functions for the ACHIEVE Liberia activity, which aims to address existing MNCH gaps in Liberia, improve maternal child health outcomes, and improve availability of and access to lifesaving MNCH services.
