Job Title: Finance Roving Partnership Officer (Open to Ugandan Nationals Only)

Job Based at: Kampala (Regularly travelling to Field offices)
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all required NRC and donors financial management policies, systems, procedures and standard forms are in place to enable adherence to the generally accepted accounting practices and standards.
Carry out verification of all payment vouchers/other documents for partners.
Ensure that all partner procurements, payments and other transactions are in line with donors’ financial guidelines, rules and regulations for procurement, accounting and reporting
Monitor the partner cash flows and expenditures relating to the projects.
Collaborate with the finance coordinator to ensure partners are compliant and supported to deliver quality project documentation.
Assisting the NRC Project staffs in translating their work plans into budgets in accordance with the Project budget.
Ensuring that partners file/Pay government taxes on time and in the right way.
Receive and verify the interim and final financial reports for partners.
Support partners during implementation through capacity building, workshops, field visits and one on one discussions.
Responsible for the quality posting of costs or partner Liquidations in Agresso/ unit4.
Contribute in the design, development and implementation of the financial management policies, procedures and practices.
Training partners in financial processes according to NRC policies and also the use of different financial tools.
Assist the Finance Coordinator in maintaining overall budget control, provide up-to-date analysis and regular reports of the field office financial status and share detailed Budget vs. Actual reports for the entire field offices.
Mobilize regular meetings with partners and always ensure proper documentation of minutes for these meetings, and also follow – up with action plans.
Work with the Finance Coordinator and ensure accurate, reliable master support budget is in place and updated.
Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the line manager/supervisor.
