DRC has been operating in the Middle East (ME) region for over a decade, running a combination of emergency, livelihood, protection and advocacy programmes through Country Offices (COs) in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey with a Regional Office (RO) in Amman.

About the Job:
Overall purpose of the role:
The CVA Officer is responsible for supporting the high-quality implementation and monitoring of DRC's Cash and Voucher Assistance programmes. The officer will play a key role in the execution of CVA activities, from beneficiary registration and coordination with financial service providers to distribution monitoring and reporting. The role ensures all activities comply with DRC's standard operating procedures, donor regulations, and protection principles, while maintaining excellent relations with communities and stakeholders. In addition, the CVA Officer is in charge of the following:

We offer
DRC will offer the successful applicant a contract until April 30, 2026, renewable dependent on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work as soon as possible and be willing and able to work in Hodeida.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment. This position will be placed at Band (NMH2) and will be reporting to the Economic Recovery Team Leader.
