UNDP Mongolia is looking for a creative and dynamic Communications Intern to work with the UNDP Communications Analyst and Programme team to further strengthen UNDP Mongolia’s digital presence and digital communications. UNDP Mongolia Communications Intern will play supporting role in maintaining and managing digital communications channels.
This is an ideal position for someone who understands the ‘ins and outs’ of the 21st century communication, digital communications, media and public relations. You don’t have to be a development professional –that is something we can teach and help you ‘grow into’. What you will have to bring is a pro-active approach, professional curiosity and willingness to spend time to understand what development it is about and how applies to Mongolia. To do your job effectively, we require strong English and Mongolian language skills including, verbal presentation and writing. In addition, having the ability to create digital content using design software, photography, and videography skills would be a significant asset.
Under the overall guidance and supervision of Communications Analyst, the intern is expected to provide a day-to-day support to the UNDP Country Office and Programme Team. He/she will carry out the following specific tasks and responsibilities:
