Context

This assignment will contribute to bringing visibility to the issue of GBV in crisis settings and position UNDP and its leadership as a champion of women's rights and empowerment in crisis settings by adding their voices to the global campaign for 16 Days of Activism against GBV from November 25- December 10. This year, the global campaign focuses on one of the fastest-growing forms of abuse: digital violence against women and girls. The Online Volunteer will contribute to shedding light on this issue particularly in crisis settings.

Task Description

We are looking for 1-2 experienced and creative Online Volunteers who will support with the development of an outreach/social media posts for the 16 Days of Activism against GBV. In close collaboration with the communications focal point at the Gender Team, the Online Volunteers will: - Generate social media content ideas - Design social media content - Coordinate with the social media manager and communications officiers The Online Volunteer will be provided with material and other sources to develop the posts as required and available. For close coordination and discussion, the Online Volunteer is expected to be available for calls via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
