Conduct public environment education, sponsor volunteers’ organization, promote public participation in environment protection. 2. Focus on ecological and environmental problems in typical regions. Improve regional eco-environment by demonstration and setting good examples. 3. Encourage social supervision in the solution of water pollution and in protecting the water resource safety. 4. Strength the organization construction and improve team innovation capability to achieve sustainable development of the organization. 5. Establish cooperation and communication mechanisms to strengthen the experiences exchanges among different civil organizations.Context
This task directly supports Green Camel Bell's mission to promote energy transition and community-based solutions to climate challenges. The side event, titled “Critical Minerals and the Energy Transition: Centering Rights, Justice, and Equity,” will be part of the UNFCCC COP 30 conference. A thematic exhibition booth, “Indigenous Traditional Knowledge and Youth Creativity Driving Innovative, Community-Based Solutions to Climate Challenges,” will be featured in the Blue Zone of COP 30 from November 17–20. These events will provide a platform to showcase innovative community practices, foster international collaboration, and amplify the voices of Indigenous peoples and youth in shaping equitable and sustainable climate solutions. Green Camel Bell is an environmental NGO in China and an observer of UN FCCC, focusing on environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and advocacy for vulnerable communities. Online Volunteers' contributions will be crucial in shaping the narrative and ensuring a well-prepared presentation during the COP conference.Task Description
Online Volunteers will assist in preparing materials for a side event and exhibition booth at the upcoming UN FCCC COP 30 focused on Energy Transition and community-based solutions to climate challenges. Tasks include research, drafting reports or summaries, and coordinating with team members to compile relevant data. Online Volunteers will also participate in virtual meetings and provide updates on the progress of their tasks. Work will involve collaboration through email and virtual calls. This role will be delivered entirely online; no physical presence is required. Each of the 10 volunteers will have specific responsibilities: (1) Research: 4 Online Volunteers will focus on research, gathering background information on Indigenous knowledge systems and best practices for just transition strategies. (2) Translation: 2 Online Volunteers will translate around 40 pages of documents between English and Chinese. (3) Documentation: 1 Online Volunteer will assist in organizing and proofreading meeting minutes and related records in English to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. (4) Design: 1 Online volunteer will design the layout of 3-4 Flyers regarding the side events, organizational RE projects, and booth exhibition. (5) Communication: 2 Online Volunteers will focus on communication and outreach, helping distribute updates on social media and media coverage.Competencies and values
