Mission and objectives

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. UNV works under a dual mandate – to mobilize volunteers for the United Nations System and to advocate for the importance of volunteerism in development worldwide.

Context

As part of its communications and outreach efforts, UNV Kazakhstan produced a 7-minute video on the Full Funding Programme. To make this material more accessible and engaging for a wider audience, subtitles in Kazakh need to be developed in the video.

Task Description

Under the direct supervision and collaboration with the regional UNV team, particularly the Regional Visibility and Communication Associate, the online volunteer will be responsible for: - Creating accurate subtitles in Kazakh for a 7-minute video on the Kazakhstan Full Funding Programme.
