Mission and objectives

Through Resolution A/RES/78/127, the United Nations General Assembly has proclaimed 2026 as the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development (IVY 2026). IVY 2026 serves as a strategic opportunity to recognize volunteer efforts and acknowledge the contributions of stakeholders in advancing volunteerism for sustainable development. IVY Team is dedicate the facilitate the implementation of the Year with Member States, UN entities, civil society, academia and the private sector.

Context

IVY 2026 serves as a strategic opportunity to recognize volunteer efforts and acknowledge the contributions of stakeholders in advancing volunteerism for sustainable development. To support these efforts, the selected Online Volunteer (OV) will play a key role in developing visual content for social media platforms and enhance visual presentation of IVY resources to raise awareness and enhance the visibility of IVY 2026.

Task Description

The selected Online Volunteer, under the supervision and guidance of the IVY Project and Event Specialist, will: 1. Create animate campaign visuals – create branded Instagram/TikTok stickers (GIFs) and LinkedIn frame aligned with campaign identity built on International Volunteer Year and volunteerism. 2. Prepare platform-ready assets – export in the correct formats with high resolution and specifications to ensure stickers and frames are ready for public use. 3. Enhance visual presentation for guidelines and resources.
