Purpose of Job

Step into the frontline of cyber defense. We’re looking for a Platform Engineer - Network Security to design, implement, and safeguard next-generation security platforms across firewalls, WAFs, SASE, SSL VPNs, NAC, PKI, and beyond. You’ll work hands-on with Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Microsoft Azure, building robust defenses that span from perimeter protection to cloud security, zero-trust segmentation, and global load balancing.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Technology experience in this area includes but is not limited to:

Perimeter Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/ prevention (IDS/IPS), anti-malware and threat prevention (Check Point, Palo Alto Networks and Cisco).

Cloud network security (Check Point and Microsoft Azure).

Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) – SaaS / on Prem / Azure.

SSL VPNs.

Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Experience:

  • Designing, Implementing and Supporting Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and Secure Web Gateways.

  • The Platform Engineer responsible for network security is in addition, expected to have a foundational knowledge of enterprise networking (routing & switching)

  • Working with Managed Service Providers and Professional Service Partners

  • Intermediate to advanced technology certification in the given area such as the PAN Generalist and Specialist qualifications

  • Entry level service management certification such a ITIL Foundation.
