Join the Geodetic Metrology group at CERN, where you will push the limits of accelerator alignment to shape the future of CERN accelerators! Participate in the development, qualification and installation of new high precision alignment methods with sensors based on advanced technologies and novel adjustment solutions!
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be integrated in the multi-disciplinary team of the Future Projects section, in charge of the research and development for the alignment of the Future Circular Collider (FCC). You will be responsible for the development (from the design to the qualification, including the manufacturing) of mechanical and mechatronics systems related to the alignment of accelerator components, such as supporting jacks, adjustment platforms, alignment sensors and their related infrastructure.
