Additional InformationPossibility of contract extensionIn general, ADB consulting contracts may be extended to a reasonable degree when doing so is justified within ADB's core procurement principles. Any extensions are subject to operational needs, consultant performance, and continued availability of funds.
Specific considerations for this assignment, if any, are discussed here:The Specialist on Environmental Protection and Measures in the Project Implementation Unit is expected to work on continuous basis over the entire project period. It is planned that the implementation of this Terms of Reference will begin in October 2024 (is indicative and will be agreed upon after the selection is held) and will end on 31 March 2028 but with periodic consultant involvement (24 persons-months). The first 3 months will be a probationary period.
