IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department is a strategic partner to the business in developing and implementing workforce strategies and meeting organizational goals, including attracting, developing, and deploying diverse and skilled talent. IFC HR is comprised of the following five functions:

•  Client Services - offers strategic HR partnership, program implementation, support, and global solutions to staff and management through our HR Business Partner network.  
•  Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - supports the organization in building a diverse workforce, embracing equity, and fostering an inclusive workplace.  
•  Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness - elevates employee experience and effectiveness through digital HR solutions, policy enhancements, organizational design, and workforce planning.   
•  Global Talent Acquisition and Mobility Services - facilitates the end-to-end recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers and attracts candidates with desired skills to join IFC. Supports candidates and staff who are relocating internationally (coming in FY25).  
•  Talent Development and Incentives - designs a skills-based talent management approach encompassing best practice HR solutions in onboarding, mentoring, career management, mobility, performance/talent management, incentives and awards, and leadership development.

IFC HR is seeking a Senior HR Officer to lead the Global Executive Recruitment function, which partners with senior management to drive the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of IFC Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managers and provides strategic insights and analysis for executive talent acquisition. The Global Executive Recruitment Lead will report to the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition and Mobility.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•  Partner with Senior Leadership and HR leaders to understand executive talent needs globally and develop and implement effective internal and external recruitment strategies to attract and select top executive talent.
•  Provide leadership to the Global Executive Recruitment team, fostering their capabilities and alignment with organizational goals.
•  Strategically plan and allocate resources to drive the full life cycle recruitment process and enhance quality, consistency, and efficiency. 
•  Identify process gaps and implement market-leading approaches to meet targets for time to fill, candidate experience, hiring manager experience, and diversity and quality of hires. 
•  In partnership with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and the Talent Acquisition function, develop and execute talent sourcing strategies, leveraging various recruitment channels to identify and engage with potential candidates and build and nurture pipelines of top executive talent, such as networking, referrals, social media platforms, and industry events.
•  Develop strong external partnerships for talent sourcing, including managing relationships with external search and research firms to ensure alignment with IFC’s executive talent needs; building and maintaining a strong network of executive-level professionals, industry leaders, and key influencers; and attending industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to expand professional connections.
•  Provide consultative guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process and seek feedback on areas for improvement.
•  Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis; provide clients with insights and recommendations on talent acquisition strategies and market intelligence.
•  Effectively coordinate and communicate with key stakeholders within IFC and World Bank Group Management to ensure alignment and collaboration. 
•  Partner with Talent Development function to design effective assessment methods, implement internal executive rotation programs, understand succession gaps, and identify and pipeline internal candidates for current and future executive level opportunities based on the outcomes of talent reviews, succession plans and other talent initiatives. 
•  Facilitate the offer negotiation process with candidates, including salary, benefits, and other employment terms. Manage the offer and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for the selected candidate.
•  Proactively design and regularly deliver analysis, insights, and reporting on executive talent acquisition in alignment with corporate diversity goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
•  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, interviews, assessments, and client feedback. Prepare reports and presentations to update clients on the progress of executive searches.
•  Keep abreast of industry best practices, recruitment trends, and advancements in executive search techniques. Participate in professional development activities, training programs, and industry associations to enhance skills and knowledge of the team.

Selection Criteria

•  Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field.
•  Minimum 8 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably as an Executive Recruiter, with a proven track record of successfully driving end-to-end executive level recruitment across multiple countries/regions in a complex and dynamic environment.
•  Team leadership experience.
•  Strong understanding of core HR and talent acquisition areas (sourcing, talent research and mapping, candidate marketing, assessment, onboarding, succession planning).
•  Ability to understand business priorities and strategy and translate into recruitment plans.
•  Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with discretion in handling confidential information.
•  Ability to confidently interact with senior management, build relationships at all levels, and collaborate across teams for synchronized, high-quality outcomes.
•  Focus on taking initiative to achieve results and strong project management, planning, organizational, coordination, and logistical skills.
•  Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize under high levels of pressure.
•  Strategic thinking with analytical capabilities and data-driven recommendations.
•  Excellent oral and written communication skills, including producing documents and presentations for management.
