THE OPPORTUNITY

Plan International is currently implementing UNICEF-CERF (Central Emergency Response Fund) funded Anticipatory Action Project in the provinces of Catanduanes and North Samar.

In line with this project, Plan International invites competent, experienced, and committed professionals to fill the following position.

The Logistics and Procurement Officer will provide administrative support in canvassing, purchasing, and logistic support services to the project.

Further, as the Logistics and Procurement Officer:

  • You will be tasked with providing supply chain technical support within emergency response settings.
  • You will support the rapid scale of procurement activities.
  • You will oversee and support fleet management and transport operations for emergency response.
  • You will assist to coordinate and support emergency response distributions, including multi-partner planning, site set up and security.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful in the role you will need among other things:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, management, finance, and other related courses.
  • Experience and knowledge of humanitarian supply chain management.
  • Relevant training and experience in records management, asset management, basic computer operations (MS Office and email).
  • Previous work experience in a similar role or in a non-government organization/s is an advantage.
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds.
  • Applicants must be based in the Philippines and a Filipino national.

Type of Role: Project-based (until February 2022)
