Duties and Responsibilities | ||||||

Under the overall supervision of the HRS Detention Team Leader and of the HRS Senior Human Rights Officer, the incumbent will engage in the following tasks. Off Location, Outside Afghanistan • Support the PEACE interviewing course implementation in four provinces of Afghanistan by providing technical expertise to the focal point trainers in four regions. | ||||||

Qualifications/special skills | ||||||

Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in the area of criminal justice, law or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in criminal investigation, interviewing of suspects using the PEACE interviewing model, training of law enforcement officials or related field, preferably for a law enforcement entity. Language: Fluency in spoken and written English is required. | ||||||
