Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision of the HRS Detention Team Leader and of the HRS Senior Human Rights Officer, the incumbent will engage in the following tasks.
Off Location, Outside Afghanistan
• Support the PEACE interviewing course implementation in four provinces of Afghanistan by providing technical expertise to the focal point trainers in four regions.
Qualifications/special skills
Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in the area of criminal justice, law or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in criminal investigation, interviewing of suspects using the PEACE interviewing model, training of law enforcement officials or related field, preferably for a law enforcement entity.
Language: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
