Save the Children Bangladesh is going to establish a Severe Acute Respiratory Infection Isolation and Treatment Centre (SARI ITC) in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar District. Save the Children will ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the service providers who will provide treatment, care or services.

The Manager-SARI ITC will serve as a liaison among SC Health Program Senior Managers of COVID-19 Response, medical and relevant departments staff of SARI ITC. S/he is responsible for organize, control and coordinate services as per the Health Sector and SC set standards. The Incumbent will be responsible for oversee the development and implementation of program and policies for patient services, quality assurance, public relationship and various sections activities. S/he will prepare daily reports, ensure appropriate staffing and stock levels of required medicines/ logistics/equipment, and manage SARI Treatment Centre operational budget. The position will work in close collaboration with the Project Director, COVID 19 Response/Sr. Manager Health Program for FDMN.
Qualifications and experience
Medical Graduate (MBBS), preferably with Masters in Public Health (MPH)
At least 6 years’ experience in leading health programs/projects in development and emergency context including 2 years of experience at a health care facility in Hospital Administrator or similar role.
The potential candidate should have sound knowledge on maternal, new born, adolescent and child health (MNCAH) and better understanding of epidemic disease related health strategies/programs.
Excellent skill in leading health facility team with organizational, administrative and planning skills.
Critical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
Ability to work independently and as a part of team.
Computer literacy in MS-Office is necessary
